Any waste that your company produces that includes electrical components is now controlled by the WEEE directive. This Government enforced directive restricts the way that you dispose of such waste, usual procedures such as landfill or conventional refuge collections of your electronic components is now illegal.

Here at Paper Mountain Shredding & Recycling Services we can manage your unwanted or end of use electrical equipment via our electrical waste management program, this offers you a service in line with the ENVIRONMENT AGENCY PROTECTION ACT 1990 and DTI Guidelines for managing electrical waste and is viewed as "Re-Cycling".

We collect all your electrical goods and IT equipment and process them to remove plastics and reusable metals whilst ensuring that all potentially harmful elements are removed and processed and of course all hard drives and recordable media is destroyed through our shredding machines, this not only offers you a service that ensures WEEE compliance but also that any re-usable materials are recycled and your data has been completely and irreversibly destroyed, all of which is of course certificated for your records.

Because our procedures are fully certificated for your records you do not need to worry should you be inspected by the ENVIRONMENT AGENCY. It is now your responsibility to prove that your electrical waste has been processed correctly through services such as ours.
